On Fisher & Paykel AquaSmart and EcoSmart top-load washers such as the WA37T26EW and WA42T26GW, and SmartDrive Phase 2 to 6 models like the GWL11, code 107 tells you the display module detected the motor control module resetting when it should not have. That reset can come from a supply disturbance reaching the module or from its microprocessor failing. The washer stops and shows the number.
1. Unplug the washer for one minute, then plug it in directly to a wall outlet with no power strip. 2. Run a short rinse and spin with an empty drum. 3. Note whether other appliances on the same circuit flicker or trip. 4. If code 107 comes back, stop using the washer and call. A resetting control board needs bench testing, not repeated restarts.
The motor control module restarted itself in the middle of operation. The display module noticed and raised code 107, because that restart was not part of a normal cycle.
A supply disturbance can. If lights flicker or a breaker trips when the washer runs, tell us during the visit. We check the outlet and the module before recommending a repair.
Only if testing shows the module is the cause. We give you the price in writing before work and cover the repair with a 30-day workmanship warranty.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
