Hard water scale and a clogged filter are the usual reasons. We clean the filter, check the spray arms and softener setting, and look at the heating element. A little rinse aid and regular cleaning often help.
A slow leak can swell cabinet bases and floors, so stop using the unit and tell us when it started. We find whether it is a door seal, hose or pump seal before any parts are ordered.
