Fisher & Paykel DW24UT2I2 Integrated Dishwasher Repair

The DW24UT2I2 is a Series 7 integrated tall dishwasher, and it is also sold as the DW24UT2I3. Integrated means it hides behind a matching cabinet panel, so the first thing we do on a visit is take the panel off. That lets us see the hinge hardware and the seal without straining the door.
A panel adds weight, and the door springs are set for that weight. When a spring is tired the door either drops hard or will not stay shut. After that we go through the usual list: filter, drain pump, inlet valve and gasket. When we are done the panel goes back on and the door is adjusted to close squarely. We quote the price in writing first and stand behind the work with a 30-day warranty.
The panel hangs on the door and hides the hinges and seal. Removing it protects the springs and the cabinet face, and lets us set the door tension for the panel's real weight when we put it back.
The two model numbers are sold under the same base model, so the service approach is the same. Give us whichever number is on the rating plate and we will confirm the part before we order it.
The inlet valve and its screen come first, since sediment can restrict the flow. Then we check the filter and drain path. A slow fill can also mean low supply pressure at the shutoff valve under the sink.
