Fisher & Paykel WL4227P1 Washer Service

The WL4227P1 is the P-revision of the AquaSmart WL4227 series, late in the US top-loader run, and no longer sold new. It reuses the low-water recirculation wash, the SmartDrive motor and an adaptive control that learns your supply over its first cycles.
When a customer calls about a P-revision machine, the question is which of four parts has aged: the pump, the diverter, the level sensing or the lid lock. We take them in order of how frequently they fail. The pump gets pulled and cleared, the diverter gets tested, the sensing gets measured against the fill, and the lid lock gets tried.
You get the price in writing, and a 30-day workmanship warranty covers the repair. Tell us when you book what the washer does when it stops.
It tunes itself to your water supply over the first cycles. After a part swap, the first loads can wash a little differently. We run a test cycle and explain what is normal.
We check the water-level sensing and its tube for a pinch. If the reading is wrong, the sensor is replaced. If the reading is right, the valve is checked.
Access is from below or the back of the cabinet. We tilt the washer and remove the pump for cleaning, which takes less time than checking hoses one by one.
Book in about a minute, or call the desk. Same-day windows inside the Loop on most days, next-day across the rest of Houston.
