On current Fisher & Paykel OB24 and OB30 Series 7 and 9 built-in ovens such as the OB30DDPTDX1 and OB24SDPTX1, F1 02 is a clock board report of an unknown model ID. The clock board does not support the model ID set on the power board. The two boards do not match, so the oven cannot start properly, and the display shows the code.
1. Switch the oven off at the breaker for a minute, then turn it back on. 2. If you recently had a board replaced, tell the person who did the work about the code. 3. Do not try to change settings or open the control. 4. If F1 02 stays, call us with the full model number from the oven's rating label.
It is a stored setting that tells the electronics which oven they are part of. If the clock board does not recognize the ID on the power board, F1 02 appears.
It is more common after a board replacement, where the new and old boards differ. An older oven can show it if the stored ID gets corrupted.
The oven simply will not start properly. It is not dangerous to leave idle, but we advise keeping it switched off until the boards are matched.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
