Fisher & Paykel OB24 and OB30 Series 7 and 9 built-in ovens, including the OB30SDPTX1 and OB24SDPTX1, show F2 02 when the power board reports an unknown model ID. The power board does not support the model ID it was given. The board and the oven setup do not match, so the oven cannot start normally, and the display shows the code.
1. Turn the oven off at the breaker for one minute and back on. 2. If a board was recently replaced, tell the technician who did the work. 3. Do not attempt to change any settings. 4. If F2 02 stays, call us and have the oven's complete model number ready from its rating label.
They are similar but come from different boards. F1 02 is the clock board rejecting the ID, and F2 02 is the power board saying it does not support the model ID.
Often, yes. A replacement board built for a different model can trigger it. If your oven worked before, a corrupted setting is also possible. Tell us if any board was replaced before.
No setting on the display will correct a model ID that the board rejects. Matching or reprogramming the board is a technician task. We bring the right board and set it up for your model.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
