On current Fisher & Paykel OB24 and OB30 Series 7 and 9 built-in ovens such as the OB30SDPTX1 and OB30DDPTDX1, F2 14 is a power board report that the cavity is not heating. After ten or more minutes on Bake, there was no temperature change. The display shows F2 14, and the oven stays cold. Thermal limiters, elements and the power board are the parts to check.
1. Check that the breaker for the oven has not tripped and is fully on. 2. Turn the oven off and wait ten minutes. 3. Start Bake at a moderate temperature and watch the display for a rise. 4. If the cavity stays cold and F2 14 returns, switch off the breaker and call us. Do not open any panels.
The control watches the cavity sensor after Bake starts. If the temperature does not move in about ten minutes, it stops and shows F2 14.
A normal oven shows a clear rise within ten minutes. No change at all means the heat is not reaching the cavity, so the code is not about patience.
The lights and fans may still work, since only heating is affected. Tell us which functions run when you call so we can arrive with the right parts.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
