On current Fisher & Paykel OB24 and OB30 Series 7 and 9 built-in ovens such as the OB30SDPTX1 and OB24SDPTX1, F2 07 is a power board self clean door error. The door was opened during a self clean cycle, so the oven stopped the cycle. The display shows F2 07, and the cleaning does not finish. You may find the cavity still dirty because the cleaning was cut short.
1. Let the oven cool until the door unlocks. 2. Turn the oven off and on at the breaker if the code stays on the screen. 3. Wipe loose debris from the cavity and the door frame. 4. Close the door firmly and start Self Clean again without touching the door. 5. If F2 07 returns on its own, call us to check the lock.
Possibly just opened or pushed the door during self clean. The oven stops to stay safe. Let it cool and start again, leaving the door alone, and check whether F2 07 comes back.
A door lock or its switch can lose its signal under the strong heat of cleaning. If F2 07 shows up repeatedly on its own, we should inspect that assembly.
Usually not. This is a protective stop, and normal baking is unaffected. Only repeated unexplained appearances suggest a lock issue. We then test the lock and its switch.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
