On current Fisher & Paykel OB24 and OB30 Series 7 and 9 built-in ovens such as the OB30SDPTX1 and OB30SDPTDX2, F2 03 is a general software error reported by the power board. The board that switches the elements and fans met an unexpected condition in its program. The display shows F2 03, and the oven may stop heating or refuse to start.
1. Switch the oven off at the breaker, wait one minute, and switch it on. 2. Set the clock and run a short bake. 3. If F2 03 does not return, you can carry on, though keep an eye on it. 4. If it repeats, keep the breaker off and call us. Do not open any panels around the oven.
It switches the bake and broil elements, fans and other loads on instruction from the clock board. If its program stumbles, the oven cannot heat reliably.
Usually not, particularly after a power flicker. If it returns, the board is likely failing and should be replaced before it stops the oven altogether.
Each restart may work for a while, but a failing power board can leave you with a dead oven in the middle of cooking. A planned repair is easier.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
