On Fisher & Paykel SmartLoad and AeroSmart dryers such as the DEGX1, DGGX1, DE27CW1 and DG27CW1, Code 10 means the sensor module measures a low voltage on the 24 volt actuator power supply. That supply moves the actuators inside the dryer, so when it sags the dryer shows Code 10 and may stop in the middle of a cycle. A restart may not clear it.
1. Unplug the dryer or turn off its breaker for one minute. 2. Check that the outlet or circuit supplies normal power. 3. Restore power and run a short cycle with the door closed. 4. If Code 10 comes back, leave the dryer off and call us. Never open the cabinet.
It is a low voltage supply inside the dryer that powers moving parts such as the door actuator. Code 10 says the sensor module sees that supply falling below what it needs.
It is worth checking that the circuit supplies steady power. But Code 10 refers to the internal 24 volt supply, so an outlet that is normal does not rule out an internal cause.
We measure the supply and test the wiring and modules, then explain what needs replacing. A written price comes first, and our 30-day workmanship warranty covers the repair.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
