The OB24SAMPTB5 is a Series 7 Minimal self-cleaning oven, 24″ wide with 3 cu ft total capacity. Its flush front is meant to blend with surrounding cabinet panels, so it often lives in a tall cabinet beside matching built-ins.
A flush door puts more demand on hinge alignment, and any sag shows against neighboring panels. We check how the door sits, then the hinges and gasket, the lock after a self-clean, the temperature sensor against a test thermometer, and the fan.
Since the front is part of the design, we tape and pad the edges before moving the oven. We give you a written price first and cover our work for 30 days.
Hinge wear or a loosened mounting can let the door drop slightly. We check the hinges, tighten or replace the worn ones and verify an even gap so heat stays in the cavity.
The lock motor or switch may not be getting the signal that the cavity has cooled. We test both and the temperature reading, then release and repair the lock after confirming it is safe.
Only in care. We protect the flush glass and neighboring panels, since scratches stand out on a plain surface. The mechanics are the same as other 24" built-in ovens.
