Fisher & Paykel RDV3-486GD-N Range with Griddle Service Visit

Where the RDV3-486GD-N stands, the cooking happens in bulk: six natural gas burners and a griddle with its own burner and control share a 48-inch top, with an electric convection oven below. It is a Professional range, so you usually find it in an enlarged kitchen opening with a strong hood above.
The griddle is the first place trouble shows. Grease and sugars gather around its burner ports, and the flame can turn ragged or lean toward one end. The six burners wear in the more usual way, with igniters slowing down and caps picking up residue, and the oven sensor drifts slowly.
Our visit starts at the griddle burner and plate, then the individual igniters, then the oven. If a gas smell appears, leave the house and call the gas utility from outside. We quote in writing before any work starts and stand behind each repair with a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Part of the burner is likely blocked, or the plate has shifted. We clear the ports, look at the flame along the burner and check that the plate sits flat.
After heavy use, let it cool, remove the plate if the design allows, and wipe up spills around the burner. Repeated boil-overs cause port blockage, which we can clear safely during service.
Yes. The griddle burner has its own control and works independently of the six cooktop burners, so a problem there does not necessarily affect the others. We test the griddle separately.
