On Fisher & Paykel induction ranges such as the RIV3-486 and RIV3-485, Er03 flashes on the display with a continuous beep. It means liquid has spilled on the touch control area, or an object such as a utensil is lying on it. The cooktop section stops responding until the area is clear and power is reset. Wiping the glass dry often resolves the message right away.
1. Switch power off at the wall or breaker to stop the beeping. 2. Remove any pans, utensils or cloths from the control area. 3. Wipe the glass dry with a soft cloth; do not spray cleaner into seams. 4. Wait a minute, restore power and try a zone. If Er03 stays, call us.
Er03 comes with a continuous beep because the touch controls detect liquid or an object. Switching power off at the wall stops the beeping while you clean.
It is documented for the induction range RIV3 cooktop section. The oven side is separate, but we recommend keeping the whole range off until the control area is dry.
Moisture may have reached the control board under the glass. We test it and give you a written price first; our work carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
