The RDV2-488-L_N is a 48-inch Series 9 dual fuel range with eight burners and 120000 BTU of total cooktop power, topping out at 19000 BTU per burner. It is also sold as RDV2-488-N_N. A range this wide normally sits in a dedicated opening in a large kitchen, with a heavy hood overhead.
Eight burners means a lot of surface that is rarely wiped down evenly. The back and middle burners collect grease from the front, and a wide cooktop shares one set of controls across many valves. Meanwhile the electric oven below carries its own wear, usually in the sensor, the fan and the door seal.
