On Fisher & Paykel WH2424 front-load washers such as the WH2424F1, WH2424P1 and WH2424P2, "door Locd" means the door is locked. The washer keeps it locked when the drum is hotter than 140 F (60 C), when water is above the door seal, or while the drum is still moving. This is normal protection, not a failure. The lock releases once those conditions pass.
1. Wait a few minutes for the drum to stop and cool. 2. Let the washer drain, since water has to fall below the door seal. 3. Check the display; the door will release when conditions are safe. 4. If the door stays locked long after the cycle ends and the drum is still, call us.
It depends on the cycle. Cooling a hot drum and draining below the seal can take several minutes after the cycle ends. The wait is for safety, not a failure.
Not while the message shows. The lock stays on so hot water cannot spill and the drum cannot be reached while turning. That protects against hot water or a moving drum.
If the drum is cool, still, and drained, yet "door Locd" stays on, the lock or drain needs a technician. Tell us what the display shows when you call.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
