On Fisher & Paykel OR30 and OR36 Series 7 and 9 ranges and RDV3 or RIV3 pro ranges, F2 19 starts a group of codes where the power board detects a fan stall. A cooling or convection fan is not turning the way the board expects. The display shows F2 19 and the oven may stop heating to protect itself. Cooling of the cabinet may also be reduced while the code stays on.
1. Turn the oven off and let it cool fully. 2. Listen with the door open for a rubbing sound when the oven is next started, and note it for us. 3. Check that nothing, such as foil or a pan, sticks into the vent openings. 4. Restore power at the breaker after a minute. If F2 19 returns, stop using the oven and call us.
It means the board expects a fan to spin and it does not, or it spins too slowly. The board then flags F2 19 and may cut heat so the cabinet does not overheat.
Burners and induction elements are separate circuits, so often yes. Keep the oven itself off until we check the fan, because the oven relies on that airflow to stay safe.
They belong to the same fan-stall group, with each number pointing to a different fan or circuit. We read the exact code and match it to the right part.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
