Fisher & Paykel ActiveSmart Refrigerator Code 22: Second Fresh Food Sensor Cold

What Code 22 means

On original E-series ActiveSmart refrigerators such as the E522BRXU, Code 22 means the second fresh food sensor, PC2, reads above 45K ohms, shown as PC2 sensor cold. That is an open reading from the sensor or its wiring. The control loses part of its picture of the fresh food compartment. The LCD or beep pattern shows the code. The accuracy of the readings suffers.

1. Unplug the refrigerator for five minutes and restart. 2. Make sure food does not block the fresh food vents. 3. Check the door seal closes completely. 4. If Code 22 stays, call us.
