Fisher & Paykel OB24SCD9PX1 Convection Oven Repair

The OB24SCD9PX1 is a Series 7 single oven, 24″ wide, with nine functions and dedicated convection modes. Many are set into a tall cabinet next to the fridge or a pantry run, where a narrower oven keeps the layout balanced.
The fan is the part we replace most on convection ovens that get weekly use. It starts with a faint squeal, then turns slow, and cookies brown on one side of the sheet. If the fan sounds healthy, we move to the sensor and the lock.
Our visit includes a thermometer test and a look at the door lock after a clean cycle. Pricing is given in writing before work and repairs include a 30-day warranty.
Start with the convection fan, since weak airflow leaves hot spots. We confirm fan speed and blade balance, then check the sensor against a thermometer. Rotating the pan halfway is a stopgap.
It is an early sign of a worn motor bearing. The oven keeps working for a while, but a seized fan can stop convection altogether, so booking a check sooner keeps the repair small.
Often it can be reached by removing the inner back panel, though some installs need the oven pulled forward. We cut power and decide on site, then tell you before we start.
Book in about a minute, or call the desk. Same-day windows inside the Loop on most days, next-day across the rest of Houston.
