Across West U we repair Fisher & Paykel column refrigerators, DishDrawers, ranges, cooktops and wall ovens. Book through the site or by phone for a three-hour arrival block.

Local housing, power events, water conditions, and installation styles all affect how we approach Fisher & Paykel diagnostics here.
Ben Hooper's 1917 plat created the first lots, and incorporation came in 1924. Looser building rules in the early 1990s led to roughly half of all houses being torn down and replaced in the fifteen years up to 2002.
Blocks now mix older houses with far bigger new ones, so an untouched kitchen can sit near a fully custom one. With built-in refrigeration and panel-ready drawers, trim has to come off before we can get at anything.
The city operates its own water system, mixing well water pumped from about 560 feet down in the Evangeline Aquifer with treated surface water bought from Houston. Houston's share is about half.
With well water in the mix, scale on an ice maker or slow DishDrawer fills sends us to hardness and filters first. A new refrigerator filter and a clean inlet screen settle many of these calls.
Poor Farm Ditch collects runoff from much of the city and sends it to Brays Bayou, and streets have flooded beside it since at least the 1920s. In Harvey, 116 houses here took water, and the county has since started work to widen and deepen the ditch.
A DishDrawer or CoolDrawer from a flooded room stays unplugged until wiring and drain pump are checked. Rust around the cabinet base tells us about past high water.
New houses usually combine panel-ready refrigerators and dishwashers, wall and steam ovens, and a second washer and dryer upstairs. Custom fronts are heavy, and some were hung with almost no clearance.
We take panels off and rehang them carefully, and we report any door hung too tight to seal. On a combination steam oven, scale in the generator can stop the steam, so water quality joins the check.
Kirby, Bellaire Boulevard, Buffalo Speedway and Rice Village mark out West U, a few minutes off our inner-Loop routes. Parked cars and construction crews crowd the narrow streets on weekdays. Please keep the driveway clear for ladders and replacement pumps.
A newer house may still hold the builder’s appliance warranty papers in a drawer, so look before we quote. A column refrigerator that is warm after an outage gets fans, sensors and board tested, but call an electrician if an outlet is dead or the breaker will not reset. A plumber is the right call when water at the base of an integrated unit comes from a leaking supply line or valve behind the cabinet.

Yes. We lift the panel off, shield its finish and park it safely before opening the unit, and stripped mounting screws, if any, get pointed out and re-secured.
While a builder or manufacturer warranty is active, start with them, as the repair may cost nothing. When coverage ends, call us for a written price.
West U is near our central routes, so a slot today or tomorrow is typical. We stand behind finished work for 30 days.
