Across Memorial we repair Fisher & Paykel column refrigerators, DishDrawers, ovens, cooktops and laundry, typically the same day or the next. Book by telephone or with the site form, and a window of three hours is yours.

Local housing, power events, water conditions, and installation styles all affect how we approach Fisher & Paykel diagnostics here.
Houston annexed Memorial in pieces from the 1950s into the 1980s, and Nottingham Forest, Westchester and Memorial Bend were among the subdivisions that filled in. In census figures the 1960s outnumber every other decade for home construction.
Kitchens from the 1960s were planned for narrower appliances than a modern column refrigerator or double-drawer dishwasher. Where a remodel drops new units into old openings, clearances and brackets get checked before we suspect the appliance.
Homes in Memorial are on the Houston city system, which draws on the Trinity River and two lakes, Houston and Conroe, with some groundwater blended in. That supply slowly leaves a mineral film on the surfaces it touches.
Spray arms and filters in a DishDrawer collect that film, so a drawer that cleans poorly often needs only a cleared filter and a rinsed spray arm, not a new pump. A dash of rinse aid and a cleaning cycle now and then keeps it away.
Harvey's rain in 2017 overfilled the Addicks and Barker reservoirs, so the Army Corps of Engineers released much more than normal into Buffalo Bayou. Terry Hershey Park's low streets flooded, and the high water was predicted to last up to two weeks.
Freezer drawers and dishwashers at floor level that stood in that water usually need motors, control boards and wiring inspected. Before quoting a price we look at outlets and drain connections for silt and corrosion.
In a remodeled mid-century kitchen the old wall oven is often replaced by a double oven, or by a combination steam oven stacked over a warming drawer. Full rebuilds bring an induction cooktop and a dishwasher with a cabinet panel.
These steam ovens and induction cooktops want dedicated 240V circuits, easy to overlook in a 1960s house. If one stops heating, the circuit gets tested before the appliance gets opened.
Most calls start on I-10 or Memorial Drive, after which Wilcrest, Kirkwood and Dairy Ashford take us across to the bayou. Many subdivisions have gates or private drives. Please put the visitor code or guard instructions in the booking and attach a photo of the appliance’s data label.
Houses with more than one remodel can have panel-ready refrigerators or dishwashers set in cutouts nobody measured for them. A rubbing panel, a crooked door or a drip at one corner usually comes from brackets and leveling legs rather than the seal. If the house took water in 2017, an electrician should check outlets and a plumber the drain connections when we find corrosion.

It depends on the water's depth. Submerged motors, control boards and wiring usually have to be replaced, but parts that stayed dry can be fine, and the price is put in writing before work.
Leave the doors closed and give it a few hours to catch up after power returns. If it stays warm or keeps alarming, we test its fans and controls.
List the gate code or guard instructions when you book, with a phone number for arrival. When the HOA requires vendor registration, tell us the details and we file it ahead of the visit.
