Fisher & Paykel OS24SDTB1 Steam Oven Service Descaling Included
The OS24SDTB1 and its twin OS24SDTDB1 are 24-inch Series 11 Minimal combi-steam ovens with 3 cu ft of capacity. People choose this size when they want one oven that steams a whole tray of vegetables and still bakes a full meal. It sits in a tall cabinet bay, with room above or below for a warming drawer.
In a household that steams several times a week, the water side is the part to watch. We descale the generator, test the level sensing, and replace any seal that has lost its shape. A prompt that returns right after descaling means scale in a place the cycle cannot reach, which we remove by hand. We quote in writing first, and our workmanship warranty is 30 days.
Residue in a hard-to-reach part of the generator or on the level probe keeps the prompt active. We clean those areas manually and reset the counter.
It is listed under the same base model, so we handle both with the same checks.
Its 3 cu ft cavity holds multiple trays, so the generator works longer per session. That makes a clean generator and a good seal more important.
