On Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer DD605 and DS605 double units, U4 is advisory only. It tells you the other drawer has an error and has disabled the power supply. The Heavy and Fast LEDs show the pattern. The drawer showing U4 is not the one to repair: the problem is on the other tub, and that is where diagnosis and repair must be done.
1. Look at the other drawer's display or LEDs for a code of its own. 2. Switch the unit off at its breaker for one minute and restore power. 3. Note any code on the other drawer and call us. 4. Do not keep restarting the unit.
Probably not. U4 only advises that the other tub has an error and has turned off the shared power supply. The drawer showing U4 is following that instruction.
Look at the other drawer for its own code and note it. We use that code to decide what to test, and we repair the tub that caused the shutdown.
Not while U4 is showing, because the power supply is disabled. Once the other drawer is repaired, both work again. We give a written price first.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
