On Fisher & Paykel built-in dishwashers from the DW24U and DW60 platform, such as the DW24U6I1 or DW24U2I1, A10 means the machine is not getting water. The published reasons are a closed water tap, low supply pressure, a crimped or bent inlet hose, or a drain hose that is not connected correctly. Owners see A10 on the display and the cycle stops before any real washing happens.
1. Open the cabinet under the sink and make sure the dishwasher supply valve is fully open. 2. Run the kitchen tap and watch for a normal flow. 3. Gently pull the dishwasher forward only if it slides easily, and look for a kinked inlet or drain hose. 4. Switch the dishwasher off and on, then restart. If A10 returns, call us.
The shutoff valve under the sink. A valve that is partly closed passes too little water, and A10 appears because no water arrives in time. Open it fully, then restart the dishwasher.
Yes. The published causes include a drain hose that is not connected correctly. A misrouted hose can let water escape while the dishwasher tries to fill, so the machine reports no water.
If the valve is open, the tap flows normally, the hoses are straight and A10 still returns, the problem is inside the dishwasher. We test the fill path and give you a written price before repairs.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
