On Fisher & Paykel DW24U6I1 built-in dishwashers from the DW24U and DW60 platform, F30 means the flood switch has activated. Water has collected in the base where it should not be. The advice is to switch the dishwasher off and on, and if F30 persists, to turn the water off, disconnect power and call for service. Owners may also see water around the dishwasher.
1. Turn off the water supply valve under the sink. 2. Switch the dishwasher off, then disconnect power at the breaker. 3. Mop up any water on the floor and look at the door seal for debris. 4. Do not run the dishwasher again. Call us and describe where the water was.
Turn off the water supply valve, then cut power at the breaker. Those two actions stop more water entering and remove the electrical risk. Then call us before running the dishwasher again.
You may try one off-and-on reset, but if F30 persists the published advice is to shut off water and power. A flood switch that trips again means water is still collecting.
We inspect the dishwasher and its connections, find where the water came from and quote the repair in writing. If water reached the cabinet or floor, tell us so we can note it.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
