On Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer DD603 and DD605 series dishwashers, F1 means the flood sensor on the bottom controller has been activated for more than six seconds, which indicates water in the base. The drain pump runs to clear it. On a double DishDrawer both drawers are locked out, so owners cannot start either one while F1 is showing. It is one of the codes that stops both drawers.
1. Turn off the water supply to the DishDrawer. 2. Switch the unit off at its breaker. 3. Wipe up any water you can see around the drawer and the cabinet. 4. Leave the power off and call us. Do not restart the drawer until we have found where the water came from. Keep children away from the wet area.
On a double model, F1 locks out both drawers, because water in the shared base is a safety concern. Single units simply stop. Either way, the unit stays off until the base is dry and checked.
The unit already runs its drain pump when F1 sets. If water remains, more cycles will not help and may add water. Turn off the supply and call us.
We dry the base, run a controlled test to see where water appears, then quote a written price for the repair. Our work carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
