Overheating is the usual suspect. If the cabinet opening chokes airflow, the safety thermostat can open the circuit. We take measurements, run the cooling fan and sensors, and report whether the oven or the cabinet needs the correction.
Interior work normally stays between you and us. Exterior changes go to the Residential Design Review Committee, so a new wall vent could be one.
Keep the doors closed, wait several hours and then read the temperature. If it stays warm while the fans run, call us.
