The VB30SPEX1 is a 30-inch Series 9 vacuum seal drawer, and most of them sit in a built-in run beside a wall oven or under a cooktop in a kitchen with full-height cabinetry. Because it handles sous vide prep and bulk freezer packing, it works hard in short, repeated cycles.
With age, the first thing to slacken is the gasket around the chamber, which lets air creep back in before the bag is sealed. After that come the seal bar and the pump.
