Fisher & Paykel OMD24SPX1 Professional Drawer Service

Built into an island or a run of lower cabinets, the OMD24SPX1 is a 24″ Series 7 microwave drawer with a stainless steel Professional front. That front adds weight to the drawer, and a heavy front working a slide a few times a day is what finally wears the mechanism.
When it is time for service, we look at how smoothly the drawer travels, whether it seats flat against the interlock, and how the control panel responds. A timed water test tells us if heating has weakened.
Stainless shows every mark, so we lay down protection before handling the front and keep the cabinet opening clean. We tell you the written price first and give a 30-day warranty on what we fix.
Wear in the slide or drive, or a front that has shifted, can make travel uneven. We inspect the track and mounting, correct or replace what has worn and confirm the drawer closes flat.
We protect the front before handling it and use padded supports. If a faint print shows, a stainless cleaner removes it. We do not use abrasive pads on the finish.
The interlock that confirms the drawer is seated, along with the latch point on the slide. If those are fine, we move on to the control panel and the board that reads the interlock.
